Setup:
C-Kermit 6.0.192, 6 Sep 96, for SunOS 4.1
C-Kermit 6.0.192, 6 Sep 96, for Red-Hat Linux
When I download a text file to Linux, Kermit tells me the file type is
binary.
I thought the default mode was text. I also issued the command
set file type text (on both kermits)
Which has no effect - it still uses binary mode.
Why is this, and how can I force text file transfer ?
Thanks.
Andrew Fielden.
